This is a story of a young Spanish girl whose beauty stunned Dali and a young English student soldier. It is the story of a magical and courageous love that seems to have been pre ordained but had to be fought for; of a love that spanned Paris, Madrid, London, Berlin and Rome from 1971 to 2016 and beyond; of a girl whose inner beauty was even more dazzling than the outer one. It is the story of how two people became one and of how the flame of their love affair was constantly reignited as they fell ever more deeply in love with each other over and over again. It is a story written in the ink of tears and yet it explodes with love, magic and joy.
I hope that anyone who reads this story will learn to love her, even just a little. I will never be able to thank her enough for both the love and the life that she gave me. It was magical and stunning – she made it that. If I were given the chance, I would go back and choose her and our life all over again and again.
